Garry is a Californian originally from the San Fernando Valley. He graduated from Canoga Park High School, also the alma mater of his bride of 45 plus years, Debbie. Following receipt of his Business Administration Degree, Garry spent the next 16 years in the employ of a major retail drug chain. After his retirement in 1986, Garry provided freelance marketing, and post auditing for several national retail chains.

In 1990, Garry took over the reins of Secured Retirement Incorporated where he expanded the client base and installed cutting edge technology to encourage continued growth and efficient client service. Garry is committed to providing continuing education programs for the associates and himself.

Garry is an Associate Member of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) and active in the Orange County Chapter of NIPA. Garry enjoys speaking about pensions and 401(k)s. Some of his speaking engagements have included California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Orange County Financial Planners Association, Brea Business Network and the Labour Banks of Japan.

Garry is active in local communities and his involvement includes announcing for local high school sports teams, serving as tournament chair for a local pro-am charity golf tournament, as a member of Rotary International, instructor for Junior Achievement's "Project Business", and emcee for numerous civic events including the annual Whittier Mayor's Prayer Breakfast.
